| HAPPY NEW YEAR FROM ALASKA! This evening I was surfing the streaming webcams on a site and came across this live webcam, it's just excellent. The music is great! It's almost midnight down there and we have almost four hours to midnight up here in Alaska. If I ever make it to Florida I am going to check out the Elboroom, looks like a great place to party and meet people. Happy New Year to all. | MAC, I had nothing to drink prior to my arrival there. I only go out once every week or so so I am NO drunk...And as far as being ugly...well my photo is below (posted on: Wednesday, September 22, 2004 at 5:24:48 PM)...I'm no brad pitt but I get my share ;)
I really couldn't care less, I just spent my money elswhere. I am a very good tipper, I usually tip AT LEAST 75%. I went to the circus bar instead. I was greated with great, prompt and friendly (non arrogant) service there! I also have tended bar and am very familiar with the business...the elbo room has LOUSY service, at least on that night. The elbo room is living off it's laurels. The roof cam is a good idea and the band is pretty good often times...but GEESH! hahahaha. If that girl had acted like that in the bars / nightclubs I have worked in she would have been fired on the spot!

| The roof top cams are a great idea but the service there at the elboroom is terrible! I went there last night and sat there for 6-7 minutes while the bartender just stood there talking with a friend. She even looked over at me a few times and just went about her business of chatting...What a LOUSY bartender! Anyway...At that point I was going to order a drink just so I could NOT leave a tip but I got tired of waiting.
Hate to be negative but I was very surprised at the arrogance and apparent laziness of the staff there :(

Hey all, what's up.... Came out the Hurricans game on Friday Night Sept. 10th.
It was good to see all you guys once again especially after the CANES kicked Florida State's ass for the sixth time in a row.. CANES Rule!!!
What a way to start off the season, beating the Noles and having some pops at the Elbo Room to unwind. Next game for me is in November, see you all again real soon.

| After visiting South Beach and "missing" my flight out of Ft. Lauderdale on Sunday, I decided to head on down to the beach. That's when I stumbled into the "World Famous" Elbo Room. That place "rocked"! The atmosphere was unbelievable. I found myself sitting on the corner of a beach avenue and the ocean! I saw ample amounts of both bikinis and Harleys, while sipping on two dollars cold beers! :) The band did a tremendous job! In short, the Elbo Room was simply the best!!! See ya there soon.......... I am coming to visit week of March 6th to 13th.. Wanted to visit the Bar that basically changed my life.. | Would have loved to been down in Ft. Lauderdale New Years Eve. I was down there New Years Eve of 1977 and I remember all of the storefronts boarded up early (4 P.M ). At the stroke of Mid-night found the streets very crowded. I did get laid that night if memory serves me right. There was no AIDS to worry about in those days. Love your Web Cams!
